Thanks to everyone who came to the Family Pancake Party on Shrove Tuesday 8th March. Over a hundred local children came to enjoy games, craft, pancakes and goodies. A fab time was had by all.
As the families arrived, children were able to join in several activities. There was bowling, pancake tossing, decorating egg cups and making Mardi Gras masks all to go home with a chocolate egg in a hand decorated goodie bag!
After the activities, everyone sat down for a short film, Day and Night, which reminded us how God stepped into our world so that we could be friends with Him.
The party was wrapped up after everyone had enjoyed a drink and the pancake of their choice, be that chocolate, jam or sugar & lemon…
